Massage Therapy is hands-on manipulation of the soft tissues of the body; such as muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and joints. Massage treatment has a therapeutic effect on the body by acting on the muscular, nervous and circulatory systems.

Swedish massage
A style of massage that uses long rythmical strokes and circular kneading to address tissue tightness and/or induce a relaxation response. Swedish massage can be modified to be more relaxing or more focused and therapeutic. Your therapist will assess how to best approach this to meet your individual goals. At any time during the session if you experience discomfort, do not hesitate to inform your therapist.
