Holistic Nutritionists specialize in natural approaches to healthy eating, dietary deficiencies and take into consideration the individual as a whole when assessing eating habits.
By upgrading ones diet, the body is given the proper amount of macronutrients (protein, fats, carbs) and micronutrients (vitamins, minerals, fibre), which gives the body its best chance at functioning optimally. Through a proper nutritional assessment, holistic nutrition identifies nutrient deficiencies, and supports the other modalities of the program by giving the body the proper co-factors needed to reduce symptoms of inflammation and chronic pain.
A habit-based approach to nutrition is also implemented by setting small habit based goals with the overall goal of creating a sustainable way of eating for the rest of one’s life.
Marc received his B.A. from the University of Toronto. After the completion of university, he attained his diploma in Applied Holistic Nutrition and received his Certified Nutritional Practitioner designation as a Holistic Nutritionist. Marc specializes in inflammatory conditions, digestive issues and performance based nutrition.
