Chronic Pain Assessment
All patients are thoroughly assessed by pain clinicians and offered a spectrum of treatments available for their condition ranging from medications to exercise therapy, manual therapy, naturopathic treatments, healthy eating and lifestyle counseling, psychological counselling, mindfulness and meditation, and interventional therapies (injections and consultation with surgeons both in affiliated institutions).
Dr. Angela Mailis
(MD, MSC, FRCPC (PHYSMED)
Dr. Mailis is a specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, has a Master Degree from the Institute of Medical Science, University of Toronto, has served as Senior Investigator with the Krembil Neuroscience Centre/ University Health Network up to 2015, and became full professor at the Department of Medicine, University of Toronto in 2005. She is member of the School of Graduate Studies at the University of Toronto, and currently Adjunct Clinical Professor, Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto, Division of Physical Medicine.
Dr. Jennifer Gordon (MD)
Dr. Jennifer Gordon has an Honours Kinesiology degree from the University of Western Ontario, and an MHSc in Exercise and Sports Science from the University of Sydney. After obtaining her MD degree at Trinity College Dublin, she then went onto do her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Toronto.
